MODERN LITHO CEO DARRELL MOORE ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AND JOINS PRINTING INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME

Jefferson City, Missouri – May 1, 2024 – Modern Litho, a leading Midwest-based commercial and publication printer, today announced that Darrell Moore will be retiring as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, 2024. Moore has been with è��AVfor 30 years, serving as CEO for the past 20 years. Under his leadership, è��AVhas expanded its capabilities in digital printing, wide format printing, direct mail services and more to meet evolving customer needs.

“It has been an immense honor to lead è��AVover the past two decades,” said Moore. “I am incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished in solidifying è��AVas a premier printing service provider not only in Missouri but across the country.”

As President of Modern Litho-Print Co. and leader of the holding company Modern Litho, Inc., Moore has overseen a multi-decade period of growth and technological advancement for the organization. Through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, the company has grown to be recognized as one of the leading sheet-fed printing companies in the United States.

Core to the company’s success has been Moore’s formation of alliances with key suppliers, banking institutions, and equipment manufacturers. This has positioned è��AVto be nimble in responding to customer opportunities and market conditions.

In July 2024, he will be inducted into the Printing Impressions Printing Industry Hall of Fame. Moore has served as President of the Board of Managers for Graphic Arts Alliance, is a member of Printing United Alliance, and serves on the Advisory Committee of Printing Industries of Mid-America.

The United States Postal Service has posted updated 2024 rate changes.

The price changes will take effect on January 21, 2024. 

• First-Class Mail Forever stamp will increase by two cents to 68¢.
• First-Class domestic postcards will increase to 53¢.

Entering into 2024, you may notice a few things—like new signage and other branding changes—in support of unifying our è��AVbrand. St. Louis, Missouri- November 15, 2023- Modern Litho, a full-service commercial and publication printer headquartered in Jefferson City, Missouri, today announces a new location for its St. Louis operation. The new facility, located at 5001 Southwest Avenue on The Hill, will accommodate more than 67,000 sq. ft. of production and administration space, and will allow for expanded services in the St. Louis market including: enhanced digital printing, expanded mailing, on-site storage, and fulfillment.  

“A lot has changed since 2018 when we first moved into the 5111 location. It has served us well and I believe contributed to helping us become the company we are today,” said Jeff Davidson, Owner. “We’ve experienced growth both organic and through strategic acquisition. Honoring our commitment to serving our customers means we must continue to invest in our workforce, equipment, and facilities,” Davidson went on to say.

è��AV–St. Louis has moved from the location on The Hill at 5111 Southwest Avenue to the new facility and is operating at 5001 Southwest Avenue as of November 8, 2023.

 “This facility has just over 67,000 sq. ft., which more than doubles our production space. While our team is excited to settle into our new location, we’re most energized about the ability to bring our community and clients into the facility to showcase our capabilities and products in-person,” commented Skip Bray, President of Modern Litho-St. Louis.

Jefferson City, Missouri, September 26, 2023— Modern Litho, a nationally recognized full-service commercial printer and mailer based in Mid-Missouri, announces it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Direct Impaqt, formerly Mail & More and Brake Printing, of Columbia effective October 2, 2023. Both companies have served the Columbia market for many years providing offset and digital printing, finishing, and direct mail.  Direct Impaqt’s production operation complements Modern Litho’s offerings and expands its footprint to include six production facilities located in Mid-Missouri, St. Louis and Kansas City.

“Direct Impaqt has had a successful presence in the regional print industry for many years with well-established customer relationships and high standards of service. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue this commitment to customers, new and existing, while supporting a full-service print production facility in Columbia,” commented Jeff Davidson, è��AVPresident.

Dan Block, owner of Direct Impaqt, noted “I am confident è��AVwill not only benefit our customers, but also present new opportunities to serve them as they continue to invest in the local community through this new location.”

Direct Impaqt is currently owned by Joy Block and son, Dan Block. Dan and his wife Becky Block along with existing employees will stay on with Modern Litho. �AVwill continue operations at the current Direct Impaqt facility north of I-70 at 609 Nebraska Ave, Columbia, MO 65101.
