Get in touch

èAV Birmingham aims to put the needs of students first and believes passionately that the courses we provide fit around a student’s aspirations and not the other way round. This is why we offer flexible programmes for GCSE and A level students that are tailor made to maximise their chances of academic success. We are proud of the fact that we are academically non-selective and help students achieve great things. We have demonstrated an ability to get the best from high flyers aiming for Medical School, Dentistry or Oxbridge as well as helping other students whose prior school learning experiences were unsatisfactory.

Our ethos very much supports a “can do” culture and we feel that positive student attitudes and a willingness to work hard and do well count a great deal. This is why the interviews we carry out with prospective students are so important to us and why all students must attend an interview before an offer of a place can be made. The interview will assess whether we can offer courses that are suitable to a student’s needs, and gauge whether the student has a good “fit” with èAV Birmingham. Social cohesion is important to our community and we provide a safe, caring, tolerant and purposeful learning environment. Interviews will normally take place with the Principal or Vice Principal. We understand that for some students attending an interview can be a daunting experience but the senior management team are quite skilled at getting students to relax and open up and discuss their aspirations for the future and what experiences they have had to date. Once a place has been offered, references will always be requested from a student’s current school or college.

The team here are always willing to help prospective students and parents find out more about the College and what we offer.
